Sameer was born and brought up in Udaipur, Rajasthan. He has done his schooling from St. Paul’s Sr. Sec. School, Udaipur and his graduation from Pacific Institute of Technology in the field of Electronics and Communication engineering. Currently he lives in a joint family with his grandfather, parents and his aunt.
Sameer says that since his graduation years, he was always fascinated by the beauty of nature and used to capture photos of the landscapes as a hobby. Then he started brushing up his photography skills by clicking really good pictures of his friends and also learned the basics of editing them.
After completing his college in 2014, Sameer started working at a granite factory and with it, he kept his side passion of photography going on. And soon he started getting several assignments of product photography, showroom shoots and video editing.
Thereafter Sameer started getting enough projects and was confident that now it was the perfect time to start his own studio and pursue his passion full time. So with the motivation and support of his grandmother, father and friends he started the SM Creatives at his house. He does everything that comes under photography and videography like product photography, pre-wedding shoots, maternity shoots, event photography and videography for weddings. In photo editing, he deals with image post processing, photo manipulations, background removals, etc and in video editing, white board animations and creates regular videos in regular video software.
Sameer constantly strives to become even better and keeps working on his skills. For this, he puts YouTube to good use to learn and instill creative techniques in his photography to take it to the next level.
Talking about his childhood, Sameer tells us that he had so much fun in his school days. He recalls that he would wait excitedly for holidays to go cycling with his friends and in the summer vacations he would visit his grandparents and play video games with his cousins. He also loved riding bikes with his friends.
He advises the youth to make good use of the time they have and work on imbibing useful skills into themselves. He also encourages youngsters to follow their passion and do what they feel is right for them without getting pressured by others.
