Keep striving, keep thriving.
Saloni Nebhani is a young entrepreneur and the founder of Flip Flop Digital.
Saloni was born and brought up in Udaipur. She states the significance of computer science because, in this age, the IT sector and IT jobs are exponentially rising. Many developments in software engineering have been achieved, which has resulted in a rise in job opportunities.
As an educator, Saloni teaches digital marketing to students of commerce and budding entrepreneurs. She had positive input from the students concerning the course. This change was appreciated by parents too, who want their children to learn computers as it is the most prevalent means to get work done in modern business and jobs. Digital marketing can greatly benefit the promotion of any business. Be it service provision, application development, or anything practically that can be sold. Compared to traditional marketing, digital marketing provides more benefits.
Even during the lockdown, Saloni used computers and mobiles as a medium to communicate, which were in turn operated through proper knowledge imparted in computer science at the school itself. Social media now plays a very crucial role in the promotion of the goods and services of any company. It gives the marketer a way to engage with potential consumers in a targeted manner. It connects with a much wider range of people more intimately. It is easy to gain feedback or engagement from social media. Social media is also used to place orders, which makes it so much simpler for the user to find the page, see if it is trustworthy based on interactions by other customers, and also place orders with no hassle.
Moreover, Saloni gives training to other teachers in the school on how to conduct online classes. Thanks to her, they could take classes efficiently during the pandemic. She believes her platform for education and employment for students and teachers through her digital marketing agency, Flip Flop, is an important launchpad to incorporate the knowledge of computers and digital marketing into daily and corporate life.
Saloni didn’t have leadership skills from her childhood. She learned it through experience.
Saloni’s father is his role model. He was a successful businessman, and under his guidance, she learned more about entrepreneurship skills.
Saloni likes working out and traveling during her free time. She doesn't want to go back in time because she personally feels that one must think about the present and not the past or future. She suggests that one must move forward by learning from mistakes and aspire to become a better version of oneself every day.
Saloni has received many awards. Some of the awards were the iAmSHE award, the Udaipur Nari Samman award, the Robinhood Army award, and many more. She was one of the best volunteers in the Robinhood army and also undertook the majority of the online campaign to provide food for the underprivileged children during the COVID-19 pandemic.
On a concluding note, Saloni says that she is an ardent supporter of the government’s approach to Digital India and Make in India. She believes that one must grab these opportunities, as it would not only facilitate an individual’s understanding of digital marketing and entrepreneurship but also facilitate the development of the entire country.
