As a vocalist and music band owner, Saksham saw many low days and faced cold responses. From starting from absolute zero to now being a four piece band, Saksham shares his journey of creating a band and also managing his family footwear business.

Saksham Bajaj is a lead vocalist in a band and also manages his family's footwear business.

Saksham hails from Saharanpur and has been living in Delhi for the past five years. He started his band in mid-2020 with Nikhil and started performing in cafes and live shows. Slowly, he added more members, and now they perform as a four-piece band.

Saksham says that he had an interest in music since his school days and after shifting to Delhi, he got to see many live shows and events. And, after seeing a band perform in a food fest, he also decided to come into this field. Later, he met Nikhil on Vampr App which is a platform to meet musicians and started his journey.

Talking about his achievements, Saksham says that performing for the first time in his college fest was a big achievement for him.

Sharing about his struggles, Saksham says that the starting career days were a struggle for him. He used to visit different cafes and give his visiting card. Initially, the frequency of shows used to be limited, and sometimes the response also used to be very discouraging. Gradually, a friend of his also joined him, who now manages all the activities of the band. He says that he started from zero and is in a much better position now.

Saksham says that no one has guided him in his journey but his passion. Although, if he looks up to a band, it is the Zikrr Band.

Saksham advises everyone to give time to everything and do only what interests you in life.
