Taking inspiration from her husband, Sakina joined the education field after gaining experience of working in a diverse range of professions.

Sakina Modi is a Primary Section Teacher at the Witty International School. She also runs a bakery.

Born and raised in Banswara, Sakina is settled in Udaipur. She says that being the only girl child in the family, she enjoyed a pampered childhood. She did her schooling from St. Paul’s, Banswara, and then pursued her graduation from MLSU, Udaipur.

After completing her education, Sakina began assisting her father in his clinic with data entry work. She then pursued a one year diploma course in Banswara followed by B.Ed. Thereafter, she got married and went to Kuwait with her husband. She worked in the real estate and Ed-Tech sectors in Kuwait.

Some time ago, Sakina came back to India and joined Witty International School. She had returned to India in 2017 for her children’s studies, after spending fourteen years in Kuwait.

In her free time, Sakina likes baking and cooking. She gets ample opportunity to practise her hobby in her bakery. She also likes exploring new places, watching movies, and listening to songs.

Given a chance to go back in time with a time machine, Sakina would like to relive moments with her father whom she lost to COVID.

Sakina considers her father as her role model, who raised her by setting a good example of himself. She also admires her husband who inspired her to become a teacher.
