Saket reluctantly entered the automobiles designing field in his college time, but evetualling found his calling in it.

Saket Dongre is the Founder & CEO of SkillDX. He is also a Youtuber, and Author of his book ‘The Story of a Failure’.  He provides retro-fitting, training, and e-learning services through his platform SkillDx.

Saket Dongre has been an entrepreneur for the past two years,  author for a year, and a Youtuber for the past five years.

He started his journey when he was in college. Saket started with a college club named the Indian Society of New Era Engineers (ISNEE) and built a team of around twenty students. He became the President of the club and participated in lots of racing car making and racing competitions.

At first, Saket had no idea about automobiles but learned about them in a workshop in Bangalore. Then,  Saket, along with his team, participated in four events consecutively and won the last one. With each failure, the team worked hard, designed, re-designed, restructured, and practised increasingly. Therefore, during the fourth event, he was able to confidently race and collect awards and prize money.

Saket realised the value of his father’s hard work and sacrifices due to an incident during one of the competitions in Bikaner and decided to earn enough to have a good lifestyle and afford all expenses.

There was a period in Saket’s life when he sank into depression and was able to survive due to a video racing game. Thus, he realised the importance of inner peace and the value of sound sleep. He started reading books and decided to make a career in the automotive industry.

In 2017-18 Saket recorded some online lecture recordings and sold them for profit and bought his first phone with that. Then, he started a company with his friends but later switched to working a job and learned all the don’ts of managing a business. Due to ethical reasons, he quit that job and realised that E-learning is a big sector.

Thus, Saket thought of starting a retro-fitting business where he converts old bikes into electric ones that run 100 - 120 KM. This project of his became part of central government schemes and the Ministry of Science and Technology today. Along with that, he provides training and e-learning courses.
