Everyone has a purpose and they must strive to identify it.
Meet Saif Hyder, a passionate actor with an entrepreneurial mindset.
Founder of CineShorts Premiere, Hyder has made his mark in the acting and short films field.
Saif Hyder considers being the owner of CineShorts Premiere one of his greatest achievements. The company allowed him to explore his creative side and gave him "wings to fly." Another major milestone in his career was landing his first lead role in the web series Physics Wallah, where he portrayed the character Pratik Maheswari. The role brought him immense love and recognition across the country, even making his family proud fans of his work.
Saif’s passion for cinema was sparked by his father, who introduced him to Tamil films. In college, Hyder began modeling and appeared in advertisements for brands like Hero Honda and Ayur. After completing his postgraduate degree in Business Management, he was recruited through campus placement and spent seven years working in the corporate sector.
However, after four years, he realized something was missing in his life, leading him to pursue his true passion—acting. For two years, he immersed himself in training, writing, and performing plays and monologues. He also started screening films and founded the CineShort Film Appreciation Club, which laid the foundation for his future endeavors.
In 2019, Saif Hyder launched his company, CineShorts Premiere, which went on to host over 125 film screenings, earning him trust and recognition in the industry. He is also a stakeholder in Turf Games, a company dedicated to promoting polo in India.
Despite his success, Hyder has had to face significant challenges, particularly when he decided to leave his corporate job. Quitting a well-paying job was difficult, and it took time for his family to accept his decision. However, Hyder stood by his choice, believing it allowed him to explore his true potential. The two years that followed gave him the freedom to grow stronger and more confident.
Hyder reflects on his childhood filled with both fond and difficult memories. Though he recalls being bullied in school, he cherishes the time spent with friends and family. Raised in a well-educated household, his parents instilled in him strong values that have shaped his life and career.
Saif Hyder credits many role models for his growth, including his acting coaches, his college dean, famous actor Shahrukh Khan, and Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam. He believes in learning from those around him and applying those lessons to life as needed.
His life mantra is rooted in the belief that everyone has a purpose, and it’s essential to recognize that purpose and work hard to achieve it. Above all, Saif emphasizes the importance of sticking to the things you love.
