Sahil Thakur is the founder of Frozen Apple Events in Udaipur.
Sahil started this organization in 2010, a year after working as an event planner. Since its inception, his firm has organized over 260 weddings. He even started several subsidiaries of Frozen Apple, such as Fabric and Flowers, Frozen Apple Logistics, and Frozen Apple Artist Management. Fabric and Flowers is known for customizing and styling weddings; Frozen Apple Artist Management arranges celebrity artists for weddings and also handles caste management.
Recalling his childhood, Sahil says that he was born and brought up in a lower-middle-class family. Since his childhood, he has been inclined toward the creative field. In his school days, he participated and performed in several school functions that further fueled his desire. To stay close to his passion, he chose to pursue event management, as that allows him to meet new artists on a regular basis.
Sahil’s role models are Arnold Schwarzenegger, Shahrukh Khan, Sonu Nigam, and Sadhguru. He was inspired by their journeys and the hard work they did in their lives.
Sahil advises the younger generation to be healthy so that they can work hard and improve their communication skills, both digitally and personally. He also says that it is important to avoid laziness and to learn new things every day.
Sharing his COVID experiences, Sahil says that it affected the whole world adversely. But the worldwide pandemic provided him with a gap that allowed him to evolve. He worked on his new ideas that he will be able to provide to his clients in the future.
Comparing education and experience, Sahil says that education is what one can learn on a daily basis. It is also important to have theoretical knowledge to grow. On the other hand, experience is a continuous process and is required to achieve success. So, both play vital roles in life.
Talking about leadership, Sahil says that leadership qualities start reflecting on you from childhood. It includes the way you maintain your family, friends, colleagues, and others. Since childhood, he has liked to communicate with people and solve their problems. He has maintained this attitude in his organization. He prefers a leadership style that includes humility and good motives.
If given a time machine, Sahil wouldn’t want to change anything in the past, as he is satisfied with his work.
In his spare time, Sahil likes to conduct interviews, listen, and make music. He is also fond of traveling. He also likes to maintain his personality in terms of fitness to impress and attract people.
