Sagar Sharma is an SEO Analyst in Marktine Marketing and Consultancy in Jaipur. He has been in the field of digital marketing for the last four years.

Sagar is a Master in Computer Applications but developed an interest in marketing and joined the industry. He is also inclined towards app development and is studying it currently. He likes to keep himself updated with the changing times and technologies.

Sagar belongs to a small village named Shahpura in the Bhilwara district of Rajasthan. He was born in Udaipur but due to his father’s transferable job, studied in the government school in his village. He says he had a fun childhood and lots of friends.

Sagar faced financial hardships during his masters degree in Jaipur. He realised the importance of saving money during that time. Moreover, during his first job, he learned the do’s and don’ts when owning and operating a business.

Talking about his achievements, Sagar says his moments of achievement include the day when someone praised him in front of his father.

When asked about his role models, Sagar says his role model is his father who taught him the value of time and being punctual. Moreover, his Physics teacher in school made him aware of his strength and the wisdom one gains by reading spiritual books.

Sagar believes that education and experience both are needed to succeed in life and be future-ready. He feels that practical work experience should be part of university studies or professional degrees to make a student job-ready.

Sagar says that to be a successful digital marketer, one needs to have the mindset of an offline marketer along with knowledge of the client’s requirements, a strong hold on graphics, content, and marketing strategies, and an approachable method.

If given a Time Machine, Sagar would want to relive his childhood. Moreover, he would also like to go back in time and start working directly after his undergraduate to gain more work experience.

Sagar feels inspired when he goes out for solo bike rides and meets new people. He likes to explore new places, new people and himself during such trips. Sketching also gives him relaxation. He suggests everyone make someone an idol for a daily dose of motivation or inspiration.

During his free time, Sagar likes to hang out with his friends, go on solo bike rides, or spend time with himself.

Talking about the pandemic, Sagar says the COVID situation gave him time to spend with his family but decreased his work productivity and chances of meeting his friends or going outdoors.
