A former banker, Sachin always loved art and extended his love for it by becoming a tattoo artist. He started his career in this field at the age of thirty-three after learning the basics.

Sachin S Sherekar is a tattoo artist and owner of Sach Tattoos and Tattoo Training School in Pune.

Sachin says that he started his professional journey from the banking field where he worked for twelve years with banks like ICICI and CitiBank. He says that he always had an interest in the field of Mandala art and through that he came into the field of tattooing at the age of thirty three.

Sachin says that coming into this field was a tough decision as it was not considered a stable profession when he joined this field. However, now he has twenty seven international awards in this field and is also planning to open an international school to provide training in this field.

Sachin feels that it was his passion about tattooing that helped him grow. He was a mandala artist but then researched about this field extensively, from tattoo machines to needles, and started learning from the basics.

Sachin says that getting a tattoo just for fun is not correct as every tattoo has a meaning and an energy attached to it. Hence, we should always know the relevance of what we are getting as a tattoo.
