Quitting his banking job, Rushiraj took to tattooing, and is working with his heart and soul in this field.

Rushiraj Parekh is the proprietor of Rushi's Tattoo World. He has been in this field since 2001. He is also a professional Numerologist and Gemologist.

Rushiraj was born and brought up in Bardoli in Gujarat. He did M.A. in Psychology and has also learned numerology and gemology. Rushiraj has also been teaching karate for 25 years.

Talking about the journey in his life, Rushiraj says that prior to the tattoo field, he was in the banking sector. He shares that once a person called him repeatedly for three months to sell his tattoo kit bought from the US. Initially, Rushiraj was not interested but later he bought and started to learn to tattoo. He went to Delhi to learn advanced portraits from Sunny Bhanushali and since then Rushiraj never looked back.

Regarding role models in his life, Rushiraj says that he has four businesses and has different role models for all of them. For karate, he considers Shailesh as his role model, for tattoo making, he considers Sunny Bhanushali and for vastu Rahul. He is also thankful to Vimal Raghav who brought him into the tattoo industry and changed his life.

Sharing his Covid experience, Rushiraj says that he conducted online classes of astrology and numerology during that time. Like others, Rushiraj also spent the lockdown period with his family. His tattoo business was stopped due to the fear of infection spreading. It took three months after the pandemic to bring his business on track.

Advising the new generation,  Rushiraj says that they should never write the name of their boyfriend or girlfriend on their body. Also, they should never copy tattoos made on others' bodies because tattoos are made to get positive vibes.

To the aspirants to the field of tattooing, Rushiraj advises them to represent themselves in such a way that nobody would be able to copy their work.

When free, Rushiraj likes to make sketches so that he can bring improvement in his art.
