Growing up listening to Eminem, Rudra got inspired to enter  the music industry and pursue his passion for rapping.

Rudra is an artist and a music producer who has been in the creative field for four years.

Hailing from Chandigarh, Rudra did his schooling at St. Peter School and is currently pursuing his degree at GGDSD College.

Remembering his childhood, Rudra says that he used to listen to Eminem a lot while he was in the 5th grade, and this is how his interest in rapping grew. He adds that he started his journey as a rapper and gradually introduced himself to the field of music.

Talking about his challenges, Rudra says that, belonging to a middle-class family, it was difficult for him to convince his parents to choose an artistic field, where everyone looked for a well-settled life. However, his journey became worthwhile with the support of his friends and people who recognised and appreciated his work.

Rudra feels that a few years ago, rappers were not supported much, be it in reality shows or music academies. However, he says that in recent times, things have changed, especially with the advent of shows like MTV Hustle, which promotes rap music.

When asked about his definition of success, Rudra says that it is a subjective term that cannot be measured with fame or money. According to him, success is in doing what one loves.

Rudra is inspired by the quote, "Focus on your action and not on the byproduct."

Talking about his mistakes, Rudra says that comparing himself with other artists who have been in the field for years was a mistake. On that note, he quotes, "Perfectionism is an illusion that is not achievable."

In his message to the youth, Rudra says that to achieve something in life, you ought to sacrifice on certain fronts, like your social circle and friends. He advises them to focus on their goals and take action to achieve them.
