Ruby is a confident and audacious woman who went one step ahead to materialize her dreams despite several obstacles and odds that came in her way.

Ruby Arora is currently working as a director for a company called 24/7. She had never worked before and her professional journey kicked off only three years ago.

Ruby randomly tried her luck at Mrs India and won the titles of Mrs Mumbai and Mrs Glamourous in 2018. Thereafter, she also went on to win Mrs. North West Asia in 2019. In December 2019, Ruby participated in Mrs Universe and won the title of Mrs Humanity Universe.

After winning so many titles, Ruby wanted to hit the beauty industry, but couldn’t implement her plan due to COVID. She aims to set up a grooming school where she can help women look beautiful and create an identity of their own. Ruby has done many print shoots for jewelry brands and participated in ramp walks.

Ruby was born and brought up in Pune and studied at St. Joseph’s School. She did her college from Symbiosis. Ruby got married at the age of eighteen and completed her education through correspondence. She had also been modeling before her marriage.

Talking about her challenges, Ruby shares that her in-laws were not open to her working and pursuing her studies. But there was a hidden desire within Ruby that remained unfulfilled amid her family responsibilities. That desire was to carve an identity of her own. This is when she took the plunge and decided to participate in the ‘Mrs. India’ contest overcoming all odds. Once Ruby won the crown, there was no looking back for her.

Ruby advises aspiring models to wait for the right offer and not jump on every opportunity that is put on their platter. She suggests they pick up the right opportunity with careful thinking.

When asked about her role models, Ruby says she draws inspiration from Sushmita Sen, who has made the nation proud. The only thing that keeps Ruby going is listening to spiritual music, healing, and meditation.

Ruby’s mantra for success is to take each day as it comes and never say never. She advises the youth to just start from where they are and keep going. Ruby says the youth should never compromise on their education, financial independence, self-respect, and dignity.

If Ruby could go back in a Time Machine, she would revisit her childhood and do certain things which today’s generation are exposed to.
