Roshan Lal Jain is an engineer by education and has worked in several industries before becoming an entrepreneur. He is the owner of a showroom of TVS Motors dealing in two and three-wheeler vehicles in Udaipur.

Roshan Lal Jain did his Engineering from BITS-Pilani. Thereafter he worked in several process industries like West Coast Paper Mills Ltd and The Jaipur Udyog Ltd, Sawaimadhopur. Then he got selected by Scooters India Ltd and his journey in this line started. He was having a dealership of Vijay Super Scooters which was a Government of India enterprise where they had selected the retail outlet managers, all of them were engineers across the country. So he was selected for the Udaipur region. He has been doing this automobile business since 1976 till date.

Roshan Lal says that earlier he had a dealership of Scooters India Ltd and in 1983, he had taken the dealership of TVS Motor Company and he was the only dealer in the Udaipur division dealing in two and three-wheeler vehicles.

Roshan Lal says that had been a President of the Lions Club for two consecutive years from 2009 till 2011. Currently, he is a member of the Jain Social Group and President of the Udaipur Automobile Vehicle Dealers Association for the last five years. He has been organising ‘Sadak Suraksha Saptah’ and other activities since last ten years.

Roshan Lal belongs to Chandras village of Bhilwara district. He studied there upto 5th std only and then went to Bhilwara to complete his schooling. He did engineering in 1972 from BITS Pilani. He started his business with a mere Rs. 10000/- which was the savings of his four years of service in Udaipur.

At present, Roshan Lal is planning to retire from business and enter into a second phase of life that is the spiritual one.

Roshan Lal advises everyone to focus on your work and money will automatically come to you because money is secondary.

Roshan Lal suggests to newcomers that the automobile business is a service oriented business so you must give better and satisfactory services to your customers to make a strong and growing client base. Also, he advises them to give good after sale services to have a reference customer base.
