Ronak Jhuthawat has been a practising Company Secretary since 2018, but he started working in this field in 2012. He does legal and secretarial compliances for all types of companies registered under the Companies Act, 2013. He also looks after the protection and issuing of copyrights, patents, and trademarks.
Ronak belongs to Dhariyawad situated in the Pratapgarh district of Rajasthan. He did his primary schooling from there itself. To pursue his career further, he moved to Udaipur in 2005 and completed his schooling from Guru Nanak Public School. Further, he did his B.Com, M.Com, LLB, MBA, and Ph.D. from MLSU.
Talking about his role models, Ronak says he considers his teacher Sunil Mehta as his biggest inspiration for introducing him to the profession of Company Secretary. He also draws inspiration from his grandparents, parents, wife, brother, and the promoters and founders of Acme group, Nirmal Jain and Mohan Nagda for being his constant supporters.
Elaborating on his struggles, Ronak says that his struggles in life started right from the time he decided to become a CS as it was very difficult to qualify the exams. After that, searching for a good company for training and getting a good job was no less than a struggle for him. After that, leaving his well-paid job and coming into practice was the most difficult decision for him.
Regarding his achievements, Ronak says that at present, he is the Chairman of the Udaipur Chapter of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India which is a good achievement for him.
Sharing his COVID experience, Ronak says that it has been the most struggling time for everyone. He also panicked as all the businesses were closed and it was very difficult to sit at home. He adds that after spending two months of quality time with his family, he adopted the work-from-home culture and slowly resumed his work.
According to Ronak, both education and experience are equally important for making a career in life. He believes that you enter any career only because of your education and qualification, but to move ahead and achieve any position in life, your experience matters the most.
In his spare time, Ronak likes to go on outings with his family.
If Ronak had a Time Machine, he would like to go back in time and relive his college life.
To come into the field of Company Secretary, Ronak suggests that you should be dedicated and have a proper understanding of this field.
