Speaking about his childhood, Rohit says that he was very naughty as a child. He accompanied his father to their stationery shop, where he enjoyed sketching. Slowly and gradually, it became his passion, and he decided to make it his profession. He says that when he was in the eighth grade, he made up his mind to go into the design field but faced difficulty to make his parents understand his decision. For higher education in the designing field, he joined Arch Academy and enjoyed his journey.
Rohit shares that his mother always supported and motivated him to achieve his goal and become an interior designer. He feels that he is successful because of his mother's support. He worked hard to learn and gain knowledge in this field. He says that he struggled a lot when he entered the market, as it is difficult to search for good vendors. He also faced many challenges regarding the selection of material, financial resources and getting clients.
When asked how he beats stress, Rohit says that it is important to be calm, as there is stress in every business. He believes that to attain mental peace, it is important to do meditation as it helps in finding solutions to the problems. In terms of interior design, to reduce problems, one should be clear about the technical terms and conditions.
Rohit uses eco-friendly materials in his projects to protect the environment. He believes that to enhance the health of people, a positive environment that includes plants and flowers as well as a pleasant fragrance plays an important role.
Rohit’s life mantra is not carrying problems for a long time, and he always tries to find quick solutions.
Rohit advises the younger generation to make reading and meditation a habit. He says to enter this field, one should have knowledge of sketching, drafting, and colour combinations.
