Rohit is a hotelier based in Udaipur and owns two hotels here. He is a busy man and for him, his business takes precedence over everything else.

Rohit was born and raised till his formative years in the Ratlam district of Madhya Pradesh. And later he with his family shifted to Udaipur. He completed his hotel management degree from Udaipur.

Talking about the beginning of his professional journey he recounts that he started working as an Industrial trainee with the Oberoi Udaivilas, Udaipur. Later he joined as an associate at the same hotel. After working with the Oberoi Udaivilas he worked for many domestic and international hotels before starting his own hospitality business. In Udaipur, he owns two hotels.

For anyone who wants to start a career/business in the hospitality sector, he says that it’s a very exciting industry and one gets to learn and network a lot. To succeed in this industry one must look after his clients well and ensure customer satisfaction.

Talking about the sacrifices he has made, Rohit mentions that he has missed out on a lot of things from attending family gatherings to celebrating New year and Christmas. He says that for the past 10 years he hasn’t celebrated Christmas and New year owing to his business. But in hindsight, he says that it’s all worth it.

If given a chance to go back in time and change something Rohit says that during a wrestling tournament he met with an accident and had to quit wrestling. So he would want to avert that accident and be a wrestler.

Talking about the free time, Rohit mentions he hardly has any but whenever he gets free time he likes to do fishing and spend some time with his family.
