Rohit Bansal is an Udaipurite. He is quite an optimistic guy. He loves reading and writing and has authored two books so far and his third book is in the incipient stage.

Rohit Bansal was born and brought up in Udaipur. He lives with his family in Udaipur itself. Although he comes from a humble background, he has created a name for himself by overcoming all odds in his life. Rohit says that his childhood was very ordinary. When he was growing up, his family was struggling financially and often they would struggle to make their two ends meet.

Rohit shares an incident from his childhood that changed the way he looked at his life. On his 4th birthday, his mother couldn’t buy him a present and it upset him. He asked his mother what’s the point of living in such poverty, the better I die. But his mother taught him that poverty is just a phase of life. Instead of running away from it face it head-on. That’s when he vowed to never complain of adversities in life.

Rohit takes inspiration from Mahatma Gandhi and Swami Vivekananda. Though he considers his mother his role model. To all the students, Rohit advises that they should first find out where their heart lies. They should follow their passion. And whichever subject they find an interest in they should put their heart and soul into it and pursue it.

If he could go back in time, Rohit would want to relive his childhood and pursue the same profession of accounting as he is pursuing now.

Rohit says that happiness and sorrows are just phases of life. How one balances oneself during these phases determines one’s life ahead. He says life is full of uncertainties, at one moment you may be extremely happy and at the next moment, you may find yourself in utmost distress.

Rohit has a penchant for accountancy. Besides being an accountant he is an author too. He has written two books so far. His first book is about Shreenathji and the second book is about the history of Mewar. He is also writing his third book on late Smt. Sushma Swaraj which he aims to finish soon.
