Arpit left his job at a reputed company to follow his passion full-time and eventually found satisfaction in his job as an RJ.

RJ Arpit is a program host at FM 95 Tadka.

Arpit belongs to a small town called Mavli near Udaipur. He did his primary schooling from his village itself. Then he did LLB-LLM from Udaipur.

When asked how he steered his career towards RJing, Arpit says that once while travelling with his family in the car, he blurted out that one day his voice will be on the radio that is playing in the car. This made him contemplate on his remark and he found that he likes talking and had good observational skills. These two qualities motivated him to become an RJ. Thus, in 2015, Arpit participated in a 7-day RJ course in a summer camp organised by Rajasthan Patrika.

After getting a sense of RJing, Arpit applied for an internship at several radio stations around Udaipur. He was rejected at every radio station so he decided to drop the idea in 2018 and continue with his final year of LLB.

In 2019, Arpit got selected by Hindustan Zinc, Zawar Mines as an HR manager. He worked there for about a year before realising that it was not for him, so he quit the job. He says that quitting a fruitful job would have been difficult without his parents’ support.

After quitting the job, Arpit began preparing for RJS, during which he came to know of a vacancy for internship at 94.3 My FM. This time, he got selected and he began his internship there. Shortly after that, COVID hit and he started working from home.

During all this, Arpit was unsure about his future as an RJ as he had left his job for an unpaid internship. In mid 2021, he came to know of a job vacancy at 95 FM Tadka and applied there and subsequently got the job after about two months. He was finally happy that his persistence paid off and he officially became an RJ.

Arpit considers his father as his role model in life. And professionally, he admires the versatility of Kumar Vishwas.

Arpit likes investing his free time on himself and also on observing life around him. He is also an avid writer and spends a good amount of time reading and writing.

Arpit advises everyone that you should keep working consistently to achieve your goal and should not give up due to initial setbacks.
