Riya Gupta is a passionate and devout educator who aims at making the concepts simpler for the students to understand.

Riya Gupta is a Science teacher for classes eighth to tenth at Alok Institute, Panchwati, Udaipur since January 2021. She loves to teach and interact with students.

Riya was born in Jaipur and completed her studies till standard four in the city. Then, she shifted to Hanumangarh with her family and studied till mid-session of ninth there. Lastly, her father moved to Udaipur and she got admitted mid-session to Alok School, Fatehpura branch. After completing her education, she started working in the same school and developed her teaching skills. Riya credits Alok Institute’s guidance, process, and principles for shaping her into a capable teacher.

During COVID, Riya missed the students and all the development that happens in classroom teaching. However, she was able to teach via online classes. The motivating and positive encouragement of the Institute’s Director helped her and the students to cope with online teaching easily.

When asked about her role models, Riya says her mother, who is also a teacher, is a role model for her. Riya feels inspired by her mother’s optimism, positive attitude, and friendly nature. Moreover, Riya looks upon her father for his punctuality. Alok institute’s director is also her role model for his punctuality and discipline.

If given a Time Machine, Riya would want to relive the time when she was in eleventh and twelfth classes participating in extracurricular activities that she missed earlier. Moreover, she would learn new skills.

During her free time, Riya loves to dance, listen to music, educate slum kids, or work with the NGO she’s associated with.

Riya advises youngsters to choose their passion as their profession.
