Dr. Ritu Paliwal has been in the field of teaching for eighteen years. She worked as a teacher, as a lecturer, as an Associate Professor and is presently working as a Principal at The Stanvard Senior Secondary School in Udaipur.
Ritu lives in Udaipur. She has completed her graduation and post-graduation from Mohanlal Sukhadia University.
Talking about her journey in life, Ritu says that life has been normal to her with the usual ups and downs. Ritu says she likes teaching very much. However, since she has to do a lot of administrative work as a principal, she has been missing her teaching activity.
When asked about role models in her life, Ritu says that she is inspired by all the great personalities like Gandhiji, Mother Teresa, Sister Nivedita, Sardar Patel etc. However, she says that she is particularly inspired by her mother whose humble character always rejuvenates her.
Sharing her Covid experience, Ritu says that it was a tough time for her, too. She stayed at home and spent time with her son during the pandemic.
If a Time Machine is given to her to go back in time, Ritu would not like to change anything in her life. According to her, life is an on-going process. But still, if she is given a chance to go back in time, she would like to meet her uncle who passed away when she was in London.
To the new aspirants in the field of teaching, Ritu advises them to spend less time on mobiles and more time with family and grandparents. She feels that what the elders can teach, nobody else can. Apart from getting a good education, Ritu advises them to be good human beings for society.
