We cannot control our future or change our past. What we have is the present and we should live it to the fullest.

Ritesh Bawri is the founder of Breathe Again, a platform helping people live longer and healthier lives.
Ritesh was born and brought up in Shillong, Meghalaya. However, Ritesh says that he has lived in nine different cities. He did his undergraduation from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai. He then did his MBA from the University of Michigan, USA.
Ritesh says that he started helping his father at the age of fourteen itself. When he was nineteen, he came to Mumbai and was immediately asked to go to Dimapur, Nagaland. There, he started managing around five hundred workers in his family’s plywood factory.
However, Ritesh says that it was the last eight years that transformed his life. He says that eight years back he was very unwell, suffering from conditions like Asthma, Diabetes, and Hypertension. It was then when he came into the health and wellness field and reversed his lifestyle and since then has helped thousands of people do the same.
Talking about his mistakes, Ritesh says that he has made plenty of mistakes in his lifetime and has subsequently learned a lot from them. From trusting people too easily to not trusting them enough, from being goal-oriented to not setting any goals, Ritesh says that he has made many mistakes. Over time, he learned that the best way in life to face these mistakes and difficult situations is to confront them.
When asked about his achievements, Ritesh says that the first two patients he cured were his parents. His mother suffered from Migraine and low immunity and his father suffered from diabetes and curing them is what he considers his biggest achievement.
Ritesh says that his journey taught him two important lessons in life. First, he used to be very impatient in life and always worked in a hurry as if there was no tomorrow but now, he works patiently, making long-term goals. Second, he learned the importance of health which he often side-lined initially.
Sharing about his mentors and role models in life, Ritesh says that a professor of his, Ravi Ranjan, was the one who motivated him to come into this field of health and wellness. He also draws inspiration from his mentor, Ketan Patel who is a Venture Capitalist, and his parents. Ritesh says that he also learns a lot of things from his kids.
In his free time, Ritesh likes to meditate four hours a day, exercise, and follow the breathing practices he has learned.
