A fitness expert who started his journey in Taekwondo and then learned callisthenics, Rishi has been working in the field of martial arts for the last seventeen years.

Rishi Arora is a Fitness Trainer and owner of Surya Callisthenics in Deoria.

Rishi shares that he had been interested in callisthenics and martial arts since his younger days. At the time of the pandemic, he decided to learn this martial art form and went to Mumbai to get the training.

Recalling his childhood, Rishi says that he was a very naughty and non-studious child. He was interested in sports, so he was very active in football, athletics, etc. in school. He grew up in an environment of sports as his family was interested in sports. Currently, he is pursuing martial arts as a profession.

Talking about his journey, Rishi says that he started doing Callisthenics two years ago, but earlier he had been doing Taekwondo for the last fifteen years. He played taekwondo until the international level and also worked as a coach in this field. Then he got interested in callisthenics, which is very different from martial arts.

Sharing his experience, Rishi says that there is no age bar for entering callisthenics and that it is suitable for anyone. In this field, the risk factor of injuries, mishaps, etc. is very low. It is one of the most natural ways to develop the body, just like yoga and meditation.

Sharing his achievements, Rishi says that he has played at the state, national, and international levels of taekwondo. He has also achieved many medals in taekwondo and has explored various countries like Korea, Europe, the USA, etc.

When asked about his role models, Rishi says that he got inspired by Jackei Chan, Bruce Lee, Akshay Kumar, and Tiger Shroff in the field of martial arts. He got inspiration from everyone to learn new things.

In his spare time, Rishi exercises daily. He also likes to watch movies, shop, travel, and tattoo.

To attain mental peace, Rishi distracts himself by watching movies on his mobile phone.

Rishi’s life mantra is to be focused on yourself instead of others. He believes in living and letting others live.
