Work until you have to introduce yourself.
Richa Maheshwari is a Motivational Speaker, Performance Trainer, Keynote Speaker and Life Coach. She has been changing people's lives for the last thirteen years.
Richa belongs to Ranchi but for the last fifteen years she has been living in Mumbai. Although she spent her childhood in Ranchi, she was soon sent to Mayo School, Ajmer. After studying there from 4th to 10th grade, she did 11th and 12th from Ranchi itself.
Recalling her childhood, Richa says that she went through a lot of trouble in her childhood because of financial issues at home. She says that because of his father’s bad habits, there was always financial tension in the family and the money was never enough for all. And that’s when she decided to stand on her own feet and do something big in life.
Talking about her role models, Richa says she considers Tony Robbins as her biggest role model for the work he does and for making an impact on the lives of people at large.
When asked about her struggles, Richa says that her most struggling time was when she came to Mumbai and money was always an issue. It became very difficult for her to survive in Mumbai initially. There, along with her college, she arranged for all her expenses by doing small part-time jobs. She had also seen a time when she did not even have money to have a regular meal. But she never gave up hope and today she is tying the strings of heights.
In her spare time, Richa loves spending time with her child and playing with him. Besides, she also has a hobby of dancing, zumba, cycling, jogging and keeping herself fit. She also likes to watch web series and movies on Netflix.
Sharing her success-mantra, Richa says it is to always work hard like there is no tomorrow, because there is no shortcut to success. Also, no matter what you do, be passionate about your work every single day. Further she says, show up for yourself and believe in yourself, then the whole world will be in your favor.
Advising today’s generation, Richa says that in spite of having all the comfort and facilities, the behavior of being lazy and procrastinating is not right, which is seen a lot in today’s generation. It is better to use social media for your growth and development than being a slave to it.
Richa advises all the women out there saying that we have a lot of potential and power in us and no one can take it. All you need is passion and self-belief to prove your worth and to do something you always dreamt of. So she suggests doing whatever you want to do without fear of any circumstances.
