Rhythm Panwar was born, brought up, and schooled in Udaipur. From not knowing how to dance to becoming a choreographer, his story is truly an inspiration.
Rhythm says that he never knew that he would be a choreographer one day. He says that even during his sister’s wedding he didn’t dance. His elder brother is the sole reason behind him taking to dance as a profession.
Rhythm says that his elder brother would perform at Ganesh Mahotsav and earn money by dancing. On one such occasion, his brother proposed to him to dance with him. He had never danced before until then but due to the fear of getting scolded by his brother, he agreed to dance with him. When he danced everybody liked his dance and cheered him up.
Taking a cue from that performance he took to dancing full-time. He would watch Bollywood actors on TV and learn how to dance. From watching actors dance on TV to owning his own production house he has come a long way. He has choreographed many big celebrities. He has choreographed a modeling show that featured Rohit Khandelwal. He has also choreographed the Tarak Mehta fame Shailesh Lodha. He was applauded for his choreography for Shailesh Lodha and was suggested to audition for the reality shows.
Talking about challenges and hardships in life, Rhythm says that he didn’t have enough money growing up. He had to choreograph others instead of auditioning for reality shows so that he could earn money and survive.
If he could go back in time and undo something Rhythm would want to be a doctor as it was his childhood dream to be a doctor. He would want to help people irrespective of their background and social status by becoming a doctor.
Talking about his childhood, Rhythms says that every Sunday his father would take him to Fateh Sagar lake. His father would often scold him. He would always get upset with his father’s scolding and would despise it. But looking back he realizes that his father would scold him for his mischief. His father wanted him to be disciplined. He says that had he learned from his father’s scolding that time he would have achieved success early-on.
To anyone who wants to be a choreographer, dancer, or model Rhythm advises that one must have an attitude for the art and discipline. Your looks and background don’t matter if you have got talent.
Rhythm says that education is very important in life. Education gives knowledge. But one should find a balance between education and one’s passion. With talent, one can reach heights which with education alone one can’t reach.
During his free time, Rhythm likes to play cricket and chat with children. He is so passionate about cricket that even after a tiring day he can show up to play cricket. He loves his work. He always thinks about his work even when he eats, breathes, and sleeps.
