A vibrant and calm person, Renu is thriving as a woman entrepreneur in the field of spices and food.

Renu Mittal is the founder and managing director of Sneh Foods based in Hyderabad.

Renu holds a commerce degree. She says she used to work for his father's company. She always wanted to establish her own company like her father. People loved her meals and particularly her mother's unique spices, which she used in her cooking.

As the secret recipes for the spices she produced were her mother's, therefore Renu named her business 'Sneh' in honor of her mother. Her company produces and sells a variety of dry spices, pickles, and health bars.

Remembering her childhood, Renu says she was the naughtiest kid among his five brothers and sisters. She says she was always interested in outdoor pursuits such as skating, cycling, kabaddi, etc.

Renu recalls her early struggles and how, after participating in fairs and shows with just one type of spice, she received a lot of positive feedback and began incorporating new spices in her inventory according to demand. She says she now sells 72 different kinds of spices. She remembers how angry her father was with her for quitting his company and launching her small business. But when the then Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu launched her company's new variety of spices on the market at an expo, her father was overjoyed.

Renu says she looks up to her father, who rose to become a prosperous businessman and the founder of a multimillion rupees corporation, as a role model. She adds, her father was a zamindar in his village, but a sudden labor revolt forced him and his family to flee. Despite his challenges and struggles, he founded his own company and became successful, and this spirit of him inspires Renu under challenging times.

When asked whether education or experience is more necessary, Renu replies education is more important since education provides a basic understanding of any industry or process and an educated person cannot be fooled by others at any stage of life. She feels that learning occurs along the way as you work on your thought or idea, but education is the basis of any concept.

Sharing her COVID experience, Renu says that she is an optimist and, as a result, she wants to look at the positive side of the pandemic, which is that families stood together, and their bond grew stronger. She thinks that when human activity was temporarily halted during the lockdown, Mother Nature too must have felt a little relief.

Renu says that she considers her company's ongoing success as an accomplishment. She is pursuing her other passion of becoming a singer, and she has received praise for her performances on various social media sites.

Renu enjoys spending her free time with her family and friends, and on her favorite platform, Star Maker, where she sings Mohd Rafi's songs and is known to her followers as Lady Mohd Rafi and Renu Rafi.

Renu says that if she ever gets a Time Machine, she would go back in time and become a singer and wishes to meet Mohd. Rafi, the renowned Bollywood singer.

Renu's success mantra is, to be honest, and transparent in food and spice production. She advises making sure to give customers the greatest quality possible.

Renu advises the youth to spread joy around them and avoid letting tensions ruin relationships. She feels that staying calm during a struggle or crisis is essential for seeing a clear path because a troubled mind cannot perceive or decide on the best answer to a problem.
