An Associate Professor of Pharmacy, Ravindra Keshave Rao Kamble chose to make a career in Pharmacy when his brother introduced him to the field and opportunities therein. And ever since he is learning something with each passing day.

Ravindra Keshav Rao Kamble is an Associate Professor at BN University, Udaipur. His area of expertise is Pharmacy.

Ravindra originally hails from Maharashtra. He says about his childhood that he grew up in villages. Growing up, he had all the resources at his disposal to play outdoor games as opposed to today when children don’t engage much in outdoor games and it also kept him physically fit.

Ravindra says that he studied Mathematics and he didn’t have any knowledge of Pharmacy. But when his elder brother introduced him to the field of Pharmacy and career options therein, he chose to make his career in this field only. And today, with his hard work, he has acquired good knowledge in the field and he inspires his students to learn more and more about the field.

Talking about challenges he faced in life, Ravindra says that he studied till 10th-grade in Marathi medium and then he studied in the English medium in his high school. And the change of medium entailed its own set of challenges. However, one of his teachers lifted his morale and he was able to overcome his shortcomings.

Ravindra says that his father, elder brother, and his favorite teacher at school always inspired him to study harder to grow in life.

Talking about Covid, Ravindra says that the pandemic was an unprecedented situation. Owing to which many people lost their jobs. However, he utilized his free time in reading books and doing online courses.

If he could go back in time in a Time Machine, then Ravindra would want to relive his childhood as he thinks that childhood is the best period of one’s life.

In his spare time, Ravindra likes to listen to music and play outdoor games like Volleyball, etc. Besides, he also likes to go on long drives.

Ravindra thinks that the right balance between Education and Experience is necessary. He says that basic education is necessary but you learn with your experience in life.

To the youth of today Ravindra advises them to have an aim in life and then work hard to achieve that without giving up during tough times.
