Ravinder Kumar Yadav is Process Head, Accounts Payable at IntelliSmart Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd. He is also the Founder at PowerTalks, Alwar.
Ravinder hails from Alwar and comes from a family that has served in the defence services for five generations. He completed his education at Army and KV schools in different cities. He completed his graduation and master's in commerce. He went to Delhi to pursue CA and cleared the entrance exam. Following that, he received three years of professional training. In order to settle well, he completed his MBA in Finance in 2019.
Talking about his journey, Ravinder says that after finishing his MBA, he wanted to launch a firm in 2019, but owing to a series of setbacks, he abandoned that ambition. Then he went out in search of a mission and a vision for his life. In the year 2021, he attended a seminar conducted by Arfeen Khan, an international coach, and decided to follow him. Afterwards, he joined the course of The Incredible New Coach and found his life's mission.
Recalling his childhood, Ravinder says that he was a good sports player in his childhood, but due to a lack of guidance, he changed his sport every two years. Firstly, he played cricket, then switched to basketball and played at the national level. His father was also a sportsperson in the army and supported him in everything. On the other hand, his mother was always concerned about his future and studies, as he used to play more in childhood instead of taking studies seriously. He says that he worked hard for a basketball tournament that was held in England, but he wasn't selected. This occurrence completely shattered his heart, and he devoted his entire concentration to his studies as a result. He believes that his education is now helping him in his business.
Ravinder says that his vision in life is to give great young leaders to the society. He wants to inspire youngsters and develop courage in them.
While sharing about his achievements, Ravinder views his real-life experiences as more valuable than the degrees he earned. He lived his life as a sportsman, creative youngster, author, motivational speaker, trainee, leadership coach, and so on, and gained many experiences in life. His first book, 'Let Your Child Dream and Fly,' was released in 2022, and he has also written his second book, which is currently ready for publication. On May 1, 2023, he will release the book ‘ Lead Your Life and Go Fearless’ and dedicate it to his father.
Ravinder believes that it is important to maintain proper balance in life and that one should have the driving force that motivates them to grow in life.
Realising his mistakes, Ravinder admits that while he was in the eleventh grade, he did not take things seriously, which led to his failure in athletics. Following that, he realised and learned the value of education in life.
When asked about role models, Ravinder says that he admires his father a lot and wants to become a human being like him. He looks up to Lord Krishna as a leader and admires the struggles of Karn (son of Surya). He has the qualities of storytelling and poetry because of his maternal grandfather. He also got inspiration from his Accounts teacher, Praveen Sharma, and was inspired to read the Bhagavad Gita. He says that by reading the Bhagavad Gita, he learned to distinguish between right and wrong.
Ravinder advises the young generation to always think big and try to learn things properly. One should have the quality of learning and adapting to new things. He says it is important to respect your parents and never let them down in life. Always face the challenges and try to overcome them.
