Ravi Sen is the owner of Monarch Hair Salon.

Ravi hails from Udaipur. He began his schooling at Saraswati School, followed by St. Gregorios School, and finally at Shri Ram School. He had started going to the salon with his father during his high school and thus decided to pursue his higher education in the same field. He then went to Delhi to do a course under Jawed Habib.

Talking about his profession, Ravi says that he has been working in the hairdressing field for the past 15 years. He says that he was clear in his goals so he didn’t have to struggle much in his professional journey.

Ravi considers his father as his role model, who struggled a lot in his life and achieved success. He says that his father started his career when it was not a well-established industry and made a fortune not only for himself but also for his children.

Sharing his COVID experience, Ravi says that everyone suffered during the pandemic, but also learned to stay hygienic.

Comparing education and experience, Ravi says that without education, gaining experience is impossible so education is a must.

Advising budding hairdressers, Ravi says that you should join the field without a doubt as it is a booming industry and is set to grow even more in the future. He further says that hairdressing is similar all around the world and you can start it with minimum investment too.
