Ravi is a salon owner taking his father’s legacy forward. He started working to support his family and advises taking proper training in the salon field.

Ravi Sen is the owner of New Stylo Hair Salon, Udaipur. He has been running this salon for the past twelve years.

Ravi was born and brought up in Udaipur. He has done B.Com. and M.Com. Ravi says that he started working with his father when he was in 8th standard in order to support him and hence did his graduation through private mode.

Talking about his struggles, Ravi says that losing his father ten months back was the toughest time in his life. Ravi shares that the time period between 2015 and 2022 was the toughest as an incident with his father completely broke him and his father went into depression.

Talking about his role models, Ravi says that his father is his role model as he was the only one who taught Ravi everything about the salon field. Also, Ravi takes inspiration from his school teachers of Accountancy and Social Science and is still connected to them. Ravi also adds that Ashok Paliwal also supported him and hence is his mentor.

Advising the aspirants of the salon field, Ravi says that there are many courses available both in the government and private sector for the salon field now and people should opt for these courses. Also, Ravi feels that this field has a lot of scope for income.

When asked about his COVID-19 experience, Ravi says that it was a very bad time as people lost their finances, jobs, businesses, and loved ones during the pandemic. However, he also feels that the pandemic taught us to be more self-dependent in life.

Ravi says that we should not be afraid of problems in life and should face them with courage and keep progressing in life.
