Ravi Malhotra is the Director of Global Publications in Udaipur. His company offers services in the field of Public Relations.

Ravi was born and brought up in Udaipur.

Ravi has been working in the field of journalism since 2000. He had started his journey with a small newspaper. He had lost his father in his childhood, and his mother took care of all the responsibilities of the family.

Before joining the newspaper, Ravi used to cut and collect newspapers’ different news stories to understand how the journalists covered the news of different events.

Ravi says he had also worked as a news hawker and gradually reached the manager’s position. After that, he also worked in the banking and finance sectors, but he couldn’t enjoy these sectors for a long time and returned to the field of print media.

After working for years in the print media, he joined electronic media. Presently, he is working as bureau chief for one of the news channels in Udaipur. He introduced his public relations company, Global Publications, in 2015.

Ravi has organized and looked after the media management for many reputed programs for government and private organizations. He has also published a book in which he covered the short-biographies of famous and successful personalities of the city. He received huge appreciation for his efforts from the dignitaries of the city, which he feels was an accomplishment. When the second edition of his book came out, he organized a grand felicitation ceremony.

Ravi’s company has published a book, "Shakhsiyatein- The Pride of Mewar," covering the life struggles of those talents of the city who have made their name in the country and the world by doing remarkable work in the fields of education, sports, music, yoga, business, the arts, social service, etc. Ravi wanted to convey this message to the youth through this book: that there is no shortcut to success, and that there is a huge struggle behind every success story.

Ravi’s success mantra is: “To know how a thing will turn out, it is imperative to make a start."

Speaking about his accomplishments, Ravi says success comes with a different definition for everyone. He shares an incident from his life when he helped parents and the children who were protesting against a school, which was denying the children's admission. Ravi helped the parents put their problem in front of the Collector and get their children back into the same school. This incident always makes him feel accomplished. He also got recognition from several organizations for his contribution to society.

Ravi says the field of journalism is one of enthusiasm and passion. He advises new journalists to play their roles responsibly. Especially, he suggests they must file any story after doing intensive research and finding the real truth of the story.
