Ravi Chouhan runs a shop called PRS Guitars. He is into the profession of repairing and selling musical instruments like the tabla, the electric keyboard, the guitar, etc.

Talking about his journey into the music instruments business, Ravi shares that music once ruled the heart of his grandfather, who kept tingling with the instruments, which was then taken forward by his father, who added more instruments to the list. Inspired by them, Ravi grew up in a musical environment, learning the nitty-gritty and functioning of every instrument. Presently, he has been taking care of his parental business and enjoying music along the way.

Recalling his childhood, Ravi shares that he hails from Jodhpur, Rajasthan, where he also completed his schooling. He then chose commerce in his higher secondary school and later did his BCom, MCom, and BFA Honours. Ravi always had a hidden artist within him who was fond of painting and music. He was equally interested in studies; however, he considers music his passion.

When asked about his role models, Ravi says he draws inspiration from his father, from whom he got the motivation to do something in the music field. Ravi learned repairing instruments from his father. He also considers his brother a role model who pushed him to pay attention to his studies while pursuing his music hobby.

Ravi says that music plays an important role in one’s life. He wants every music enthusiast to be provided with proper resources, like training and access to musical instruments, to make a career in the field. Ravi wishes every household had a musician.
