Determined to do something unique in his life, Ravi founded an NGO and works dedicatedly to create awareness among people about feeding the hungry stray animals.

Ravi Bhavsar is the Founder of Happy and Choice Welfare Society in Udaipur. He is a dedicated and an active member of Udaipur Animal Feed. His team feeds the unvoiced animals of the street at different places not only in Udaipur but in many other cities.

Ravi was born and brought up in Udaipur. He did schooling from St.Teresa and B.N. Public School. He did B.Sc. in PCM from Vidya Bhawan Rural Institute from Udaipur itself. He was good in studies and always remained a topper, says Ravi.

Recalling his school days, Ravi says that he used to take interest in different activities whether it was social or sports. In the swimming competitions, he came first in Udaipur and third in Rajasthan and was selected for National level. He was also a good chess player. He had an interesting journey and dreamt to be a swimmer or a chess player in his life.

Talking about his entry into the field of animal welfare, Ravi says that once a small child came to him and asked him to feed the street dogs. He was so inspired by his thought that he joined UAF. He always feels that if a small child can think of the animals then why not other people. Since then Ravi started doing different activities for the animals and built a new platform for the welfare of the animals.

Sharing about the challenging part in his life, Ravi says that he decided to be financially independent when he was  in class 11th itself. He and one of his friends joined Network Marketing. Selling its products was a struggle for him. Then he installed a lemon juice stall at the street side for which he was not appreciated by his friends and relatives. But with a dream to start from small units and turn into an empire, he left all the negative comments back and very soon he installed five lemon juice stalls at different locations in the city. He participated in a Mega Trade Fair in which he earned 15000 to 20000 rupees per day. This was his biggest achievement. Then he went to different cities and participated in the Mega Trade Fair.

Ravi received setbacks in the business of papdi chaat and other food items. Then he did a job which he found very much unsatisfactory. Thereafter he started his clothing business and also joined an NGO for animal welfare which was the best experience of his life, says Ravi.

When asked about role models in his life, Ravi says that he considers his parents as his role models who always fulfilled his wishes despite being from a middle class family. They never restricted him if he wanted to do or start any new thing. He also considers Harshit Soni as his role model from whom he was inspired to work for animal welfare. He also considers Swami Vivekananda and Lord Ram as his role models.

When free, Ravi likes to read books about new startups. He motivates new volunteers of his NGO and uses social media judiciously. Ravi also watches the life story of Sundar Pichai and other eminent entrepreneurs in his spare time.

Sharing his Covid experience, Ravi says that it changed his life and his nature totally. He became more kind and humble. He learnt to take care of animals. He became more interested in social work and helped many people and the animals during the pandemic.

Advising the youth, Ravi says that they should use social media for new things and to increase information and knowledge. He also advises them to choose the field in which they are interested.

To the aspirants in the field of business and NGOs, Ravi says that they will rise and fall in their attempts but finally they will achieve success. Also, they should never give up whatever they have planned in their lives.
