Going against her family, Ratika followed her passion of Food Blogging, adopted it as her profession and made a career out of it. She is a very promising and focussed girl, who knows what she wants from herself in the future and what she wants to become.

Ratika Sharma is a Food Blooger. Till now she has done food blogging in paid and barter collaboration with twenty-five restaurants for the last two years.

Ratika belongs to Jaipur. She did her schooling from Adarsh Vidya Mandir, Jaipur. Then she did her graduation and post graduation in Chemistry from Rajasthan University, Jaipur. Currently she is pursuing B.Ed from Jai Narain Vyas University, Jodhpur.

Ratika says that she has always been a food lover and because of that she was even overweight earlier. So at the behest of her friends, she started food blogging because she was passionate about trying out new dishes and started putting it in front of people. She does not charge any money for promoting the food of local vendors to help them move ahead in life but she has paid collaborations with other cafes and restaurants.

Ratika says that in the first six months, she did not even say at her house that she was doing something like food blogging. But during the Covid pandemic, when everyone was locked in their homes, she used to get free food delivered at her home from the restaurants she collaborated with because she had to work from home. Then her family members were surprised to see all of that. That’s when she was left with no other option and she told everything about her blogging. But due to being a typical Rajasthani family, she got in trouble and no one supported her. But no matter what everyone said, she continued her work and progressed in her profession.

Ratika advises the younger generation that to become a food blogger, there is no need to put extra efforts in terms of money. You are just required to give your best in it. Apart from this, you are not supposed to cover any expensive restaurants nor do you need an expensive or professional camera like a DSLR. You just require a multimedia phone to start with and gradually progress in your career. At the same time, your content, presentation and work should be so good that you don’t need any fancy articles to cover your work. She suggests trying to reach as many people as possible and try to have more followers everyday so that slowly it can help you financially as well.

Ratika has not considered anyone as a role model in her life till date because she follows her own instincts and she is her own role model. She is fond of her mother and follows her because she helps her in every situation and always supports her too.
