A paper bag manufacturer, Rashesh loves doing charitable work for the welfare of society and also spreading awareness among people.

Rashesh Shah is the owner of a paper bag manufacturing company and has been working in this field for the last five years in Surat.

Rashesh is from Surat and enjoys doing charity and educating people about the benefits of paper bags. He also provides free bags to the less fortunate. He had done a BBA in marketing and then an MBA too in the same field.

Rashesh shares that once one of his friends told him that plastic is very dangerous for cows, and then he went to many places in order to make the people aware of the harmful effects of using plastic bags. Then he got an idea to start manufacturing paper bags. He feels happy that though paper bags are costlier, people are using them.

Speaking about his journey, Rashesh says that it has been wonderful, but he has to face many challenges as it is not easy to replace plastic. The government also supports in spreading awareness and restricting the use of plastics.

Admitting his mistakes, Rashesh says that he made the mistake of expecting an immediate replacement of plastic in business. He says it is important to analyse the market properly and then make decisions.

Rashesh says that it is his biggest achievement that he is doing something for the welfare of society and the nation by making people aware of the hazards of plastic use.

When asked about his role models, Rashesh says that his role model is his father, who has a lot of patience and always guides him to choose the correct path in life.

To attain mental peace, Rashesh talks to his wife, who matches his thoughts and always encourages him to be positive in life. He also reads books for mental peace.

Speaking about his hobbies, Rashesh says that playing cricket, travelling, and listening to music are his hobbies. He plays cricket daily, at least for an hour.
