A Pharmacy student, Rani is also following her passion for classical music and tries hard to attain her desired goals and objectives.

Rani Soni is a M.Pharm. student in Udaipur. She is also learning classical music.

Rani started learning music in her childhood, and then she went to boarding school. She also learned through music classes. She dropped out of music for three years, and now she has again started learning classical music under the guidance of her guru, Sadashiv Gautam.

Recalling her childhood, Rani says that initially she liked to dance and sing, but gradually she realised that she could do better in music. She was also good at studies in her childhood and got selected for Navodaya School in the fifth grade.

Talking about her hardships, Rani says that she faced many ups and downs, but she believes that struggles are a part of an artist's life. Her family supports her sometimes, but they are more in favour of her studies.

Sharing her achievements, Rani says that recently she recorded a song with RJ Arpit. She has also earned various certificates in music.

Rani’s role model is Lata Mangeshkar. Her unique personality and her singing inspires Rani a lot. She also admires the versatility of Sunidhi Chouhan.

Advising aspirants to her field, Rani says that it is important to have patience and do ‘riyaz’ regularly to achieve the desired goals in this field. She also thinks that the youth should contribute to the growth of the country.

Rani’s favourite song is "Tum itna jo muskura rahe ho."

If given a time machine, Rani would start learning music earlier in her childhood.
