Raneeta is broadening her horizons as an academician by passing her knowledge down to her students and carrying out her research in the field of law.

Raneeta Pal works as an assistant professor at the School of Law at Manipal University, Jaipur.

Raneeta was born in West Bengal and raised in Udaipur, Rajasthan. She did her masters from Odisha.

Recalling her childhood, Raneeta says that both her parents were from different states and due to that as a kid, she got exposure to different cultures, people, languages, and cuisines. And it made her a wholesome individual, she says.

Raneeta shares that from an early age she had started writing and her passion for writing only grew further with time. During her bachelors, she would work as a content writer and via that would be able to earn money enough to meet her personal expenses. Besides, she also started her own blog when she was doing her bachelors, which today is mostly about academic writing and has a viewership of around two lac readers per month, she says.

When asked about her role models, Raneeta says that her father, who started from scratch and made his own identity, is her role model and inspiration. She says, whatever she is today, she owes it all to her father’s efforts in raising her.

Giving us an account of her achievements, Raneeta says that recently one of her research papers got accepted by an international journal for publication, which is her biggest accomplishment to date. Besides, being able to get her book published is also an achievement for her.

Talking about her mistakes, Raneeta says that earlier she would compromise on her health and put her work first, which was a mistake that she committed. However, when she realized her mistake, she started focusing on living a balanced life and she advises the same to others too.

Raneeta says that as a professor, she is always open to Q&A with her students and she encourages her students to be inquisitive.

Raneeta believes that for one's improved mental health, one ought to love oneself. She says, your personal issues, and other worries can be quelled if you love yourself.

Her Life Mantra is that nothing lasts forever in life. She says your life problems, your moments of happiness and sadness, etc., nothing will perpetually be there. You are the product of your past decisions and actions and you can control what you will be in the future.

Raneeta has a penchant for cooking food and she finds it therapeutic. In her spare time, she likes to cook.
