A motivator and a professor, Ramgopal believes that to achieve success one should understand and decide their own definition of success and then put hard efforts to attain it.

Ramgopal Dhakar is an  Assistant Professor of Biotechnology at Mewar University, Chittorgarh.

Ramgopal belongs to a small town called Kesarpura in Bijoliya, Bhilwara. He got his education up to the fourth standard from a private school in Salawatiya district. He completed his initial education at the Bal Vidhya Mandir School and did senior secondary from Happy Home School, Udaipur. He did his graduation in biotechnology from BN College, Udaipur, and his MSc. from Amity University, Jaipur.

Afterwards, he worked as a project assistant at Central University in Kishangarh. He is pursuing his Ph.D. studies at Mohanlal Sukhadia University in Udaipur and hopes to receive his Ph.D. in Computational Biology and Bioinformatics.

Remembering his childhood memories, Ramgopal says that though he enjoyed his childhood, he also faced struggles to reach the school that was 2 kilometres away from home. Since his childhood, he had a dream to become a doctor. He received encouragement and support from his friends. He worked hard to pass the RPMT exam but didn’t succeed. Then he got admission to the Allen Institute in Kota but could not clear the entrance exam. After completing his education, he started his career at Central University, Kishangarh, as a project assistant.

Talking about his success mantra, Ramgopal says that there are various definitions of success. Firstly, it is important to understand the definition of success and then to be determined and passionate about achieving success in life.

Ramgopal wants to become a doctor. He also wants to work for the welfare of society and to improve the research work regarding the diagnosis of cancer. Currently, his priority is to encourage and motivate the students to make a career in the research field.
