Ramanuj Parashar is a ‘Vaidya’ and CEO of his company, Brahmveda.
Ramanuj was born and brought up in Pushkar. He had spent all his childhood playing in the streets of Pushkar.
Reminiscing about his childhood, Ramanuj says the fondest memory he has is of playing cricket with his friends. He used to be a fast bowler and would often take wickets with his fiery pace.
Ramanuj did his schooling from H.K.S. Public School, Ajmer and BAMS from Shri Shirdi Sai Baba Ayurvedic College & Hospital in Renwal.
During the COVID pandemic period, Ramanuj thought to initiate a start-up in the ayurvedic medicine field. Thus, he launched his company, ‘Brahmveda’ , and now he is sending ayurvedic medicines to thirteen countries.
Speaking about his struggles, Ramanuj says that it was not easy to establish his company, as nobody in his family had ever done business before. He himself designed the logo and packaging for his products. But he was confident enough about his products that he started reaching out to potential customers and distributors in different countries.
Despite the challenges, Ramanuj's determination and belief in the power of ayurvedic medicine have allowed him to overcome obstacles and build a thriving business.
Ramanuj is very much influenced by Japanese anime characters and incorporates their principles of resilience and perseverance into his own life. He also looks up to successful cricket players like Yuvraj Singh, Mahendra Singh Dhoni , and Virat Kohli for their dedication and leadership skills. Elon Musk is another name that inspires him with his innovative thinking and ability to push boundaries in the field of technology.
Ramanuj suggests to young aspirants who want to be entrepreneurs that they should have a blend of creativity, ideas, and time management skills. To be a good entrepreneur, one must also be willing to take risks and learn from failures. It is important to constantly adapt and evolve in order to stay ahead in the competitive business world.
Describing Pushkar, Ramanuj says that it is a city that holds a special place in his heart. The vibrant culture and rich history of Pushkar have always fascinated him, and he finds inspiration in its unique blend of tradition and modernity. If someone sits beside the Pushkar Lake, they can feel a sense of tranquility and spiritual connection that is hard to find anywhere else. The serene beauty of Pushkar Lake transports you to a realm of peace and serenity, says Ramanuj.
When asked whether education or experience is more important, Ramanuj says that, in his opinion, education is the basic staircase that leads to gaining valuable experience. He says one should enjoy their college life, but once you get out of college, you must be aware of your responsibilities and use the knowledge and experience gained through education to contribute positively to society.
As his father and grandmother taught him to follow "Dharma", Ramanuj follows this as his life mantra and strives to live a life of integrity, honesty, and compassion.
