As we always say - Good things come to those who wait - Ramakant is a living example of that. Molding his dream from the metal, Ramakant has come a long way and now owns Royal Fabrications which is renowned for its work in big hotels and cafes in Udaipur.

Ramakant is a role model for society. After working for 35 years, he says to keep working and to never give up is the key to success. Ramakant had a very humble beginning and could not study well during his college days after completing his B.com. Then he decided to take a loan from the Govt. and start something of his own, his own company by the name Royal Fabricators, that is where his story began.

He used to work day and night in his fabrication work to design and make everything manually because of the unavailability of machinery. So much, that even his own labor used to wonder how he was so dedicated. Over the years Royal Fabricators has experienced steady growth and they are always willing to go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction.

Ramakant has also been the divisional president of the Udaipur region and also a trustee at Mahakaleshwar Mandir near Fateh Sagar, Udaipur. He’s been giving services at the temple for nearly 8 years now. Ramakant has three sons and all of them are married. He has stitched his family together in such a way that the whole family is into his fabrication business. He says he’s very proud of all his sons and their wives as all of them are very highly qualified and help him work better.

Ramakant has shown his brilliance in many renowned hotels in Udaipur with the likes of Shiv Niwas Palace and Fateh Prakash Palace. Changing the norms, he has also designed The Artist House, which earlier used to be a movie theatre, into a modern cafeteria using the techniques of prefabrication. He is currently working on the project of SK Khetan Group and says the work he is doing is one of its kind in the entire Rajasthan.

His success mantra is, writing down everything he does in the day on a sheet of paper and later re-analyzing it. Ramakant always likes to keep himself up to date with the technologies and says he has always taken care not to miss out on anything. He says wherever he is today, he is because of the blessings of his parents.

Apart from his company work, he has also been the president of the Udaipur District Weight-lifting Association and says he was very fond of weight-lifting but then he had to choose between that and his fabrication career and he chose the latter. He also won third place in Rajasthan in weight-lifting among other achievements in his prosperous career of 35 years. He also made a satellite model which was praised on the national level.

For youngsters, Ramakant says today’s generation has a very limited imagination when it comes to working. He advises youngsters to keep their eyes and ears open to everything and experiment with new realms. If he could go back in time, Ramakant wants to be a sportsperson of the highest caliber.
