A priest, Rakesh encourages the youth to focus on their career and business while avoiding destructive habits in life.

Rakesh Parashar is a priest who practices at the Badri Ghat in Pushkar. He offers all kinds of services related to Hindu rituals.

Remembering his childhood, Rakesh says he spent all his childhood in Pushkar, playing around all the fifty-two ghats of the city. He used to enjoy playing cricket and kabaddi a lot. He and his friends used to enjoy their days playing all around the city and end their day taking a bath in the Pushkar Lake.

Describing his COVID experience, Rakesh says he felt sad seeing the number of deaths due to COVID-19. He prays to Pushkarraj not to show this kind of time to anyone in life again.

Rakesh says he studies the Vedas and says that according to the holy scriptures, remembering Pushkaraj every morning and evening would be equivalent to every pilgrimage.
