Rakesh Paneri is working as an Upper Public Prosecutor in women harassment cases.
Rakesh is from Udaipur. He did his schooling from Central Academy Senior Secondary School and Guru Gobind Singh Senior Secondary School. He did his B.A. from B.N. College. In 2001, he completed his LLB from Sukhadia University, and from 2002, he started practicing under public prosecutor Arun Vyas.
After working there till 2006-07, he joined his father in tackling cases related to the collectorate, and in 2012-13 he got appointed as an Upper Public Prosecutor in the court of ADJ-5.
Talking about the COVID-19 pandemic, Rakesh says that it affected everyone mentally and physically. However, it also taught us to survive with limited resources and work as a family. Rakesh says that the work of the judiciary also got affected as maintaining social distance in courts was tough.
Talking about his role models, Rakesh says that Arun Vyas is the one for him. His promptness and dedication to work is what inspires Rakesh.
Rakesh says that to come into this field one has to be hardworking and should understand their client’s needs properly.
In his free time, he likes to spend time with his family, go on outings, do some devotional activities, and tend to his garden.
