Rajesh Bharti Goswami brings twenty-four years of experience as a Physical Instructor. For the past ten years, he has been a Physical Education Teacher for classes 11 and 12 at Alok Sr. Sec. School in Udaipur, while also serving as a swimming coach at the school for an impressive twenty-two years.
According to Rajesh, he trains around four hundred students, and many of his students have also participated in state or national competitions. He even teaches the parents of students studying at Alok School.
Rajesh says that he is from Udaipur and his interest in swimming since childhood led him to compete at state and national levels. Additionally, he enjoys teaching cycling, trekking, and other adventure-related activities to his students. He fondly recalls the many thrilling Mount Abu adventure trips he has gone on.
Rajesh says that he got interested in entering this field as he was passionate about swimming and adventure since childhood. He thought of making kids learn and prepare them to compete in state and national level championships.
Rajesh shares that he has never been so relaxed as he was during the time of the corona lockdown. He distributed thirty-one toilets to the schools and was also responsible for the documentation and preparation of the survey lists. For this initiative, he was even applauded by the Rotary Club.
Apart from that, he read many books, swam in Pichola lake, and also went cycling.
Rajesh says that he grew up in a lower-middle-class family, and his family faced several troubles but managed to cope with them all. He says that his children are also studying at Alok School, and his daughter has played at the national level in swimming. He mentions that he started doing business when he was in class 2, back then he used to make kites and sell them. He shares that he has always been a hardworking person since childhood.
Rajesh mentions that he has also been honored on Independence Day and Republic Day by the district collector because he had represented the state and national levels in swimming. Additionally, the District Education Officer has also bestowed several honors upon him. On 26th January and 15th August, he organized at least seven to eight activities at Gandhi Ground, Udaipur, on behalf of Alok School, which were recognized at the district level. He has also received applause from organizations like the Rotary Club, Lions Club, and others.
Rajesh finds motivation in the director of Alok School, Dr. Pradeep Kumawat, and the founder-chairman, Shyamlal Kumawat, both of whom encouraged him to participate in various activities.
Rajesh believes that parents who want to involve their children in athletic activities should start their child’s sports journey from the age of eight to twelve because, at that stage, they have great endurance levels and can be molded to succeed in any sport. He says that a student who plays sports is well-focused and performs well in studies too.
