Rajendra Singh is a cafe owner who loves to make quality based foods and beverages for his customers.

Rajendra Singh Rathore belongs to a poor family, where his mother is a homemaker and his father is a farmer. Rajendra completed his schooling from a government school from Dungarpur in Rajasthan and then pursued his BA and MA in Hotel Management from Udaipur.

Ranjendra was very much passionate about designing and decoration from his childhood onwards. His dream was to become an interior designer, but as he was not financially stable, he had to abandon his thought. After completing his degrees, he started doing a job in HRH Group of Hotel Management, and also opened a cafe “Z27 CAFE” in 2012.

Talking about his struggle days, Rajendra says that he had to face many challenges. Neither he was financially stable, nor the cafe was getting a good response even after its branding and marketing. Rajendra had to do a job to keep himself financially stable to run the business. His brother also worked hard to run the cafe. Later his brother went to complete his studies and Rajendra decided to leave the job to focus over the business. After a year or two “The Cafe Shop” became renowned in Hiran Magri sector-4 Udaipur. Rajendra had to open another shop in the same area as there was a rush of customers.

When asked about his success mantra, Rajendra says that there is no shortcut to success. One must work hard and keep patience. If a person wants to work in this industry he must possess good knowledge about food. Guest satisfaction matters a lot in this industry. Costing of food must be minimal so that customers find it affordable and business runs smoothly. A good team is also important, as they work as a backbone for any business.

Rajendra’s role model is his grandfather and he wants to become like him. He further says that education and experience both matter a lot, but experience plays a vital role in the development of one’s personality.

Rajendra thinks that leadership comes from experience.

Travelling, spending time with friends and family, exploring different places are some of his favorite pastimes.

According to him covid has left a positive impact over his life. During pandemic he used to make future plans, innovate new dishes and work over new ideas. Rajendra also owned Z24 hospitality catering service where he used to provide Bar management, Coffee counter and fruit counter. Coffee, shakes, Burj Khalifa burger, crispy corn, smoked pasta, thin crust pizza etc are some of his signature dishes in “Z27 Cafe”.
