An IT Professional and entrepreneur, Rajendra is working towards reengineering the agriculture system by offering an online commerce platform.

Rajendra is an It professional and entrepreneur.

Rajendra comes from a family of farmers. He hails from a small village in the Nagaur district in Rajasthan.  Having a degree in software engineering, he worked for various companies and gained experience in software development and other segments of IT.

Rajendra tells us about his venture ‘Freshkartz’ which is a Jaipur based agritech startup. It is a full stack model for farmers providing services from soil engineering to harvests and entrepreneurship to small farmers.

Rajendra says that his  motivation to enter the agriculture field came from his background where he had seen his parents, siblings and other people struggling with the services present in the agricultural commerce field and to resolve their problems , he came up with this concept.

Rajendra advises new entrepreneurs who want to adopt the same model of business to take help of mentors and experts.

Rajendra remembers his childhood days, when he used to walk for fourteen kilometres a day and it continued for eight years, as a farmer’s son it was a difficult time for him. He used to travel in his father’s tractor where other students used to come by two-wheelers or four-wheelers.

He says he was fortunate enough to have parents who sent him for IIT coaching and he also proved himself by getting selected for IIIT.

Rajendra gets inspiration from Vivekananda’s teachings and also by reading about Mahatma Gandhi and other personalities. He loves to exercise as his field needs him to be fit, both physically and mentally.
