Committed to the welfare and development of his students, Rajeev Soni has been working in the education field for about seven years now.

Rajeev Soni is working as the H.O.D. of Civil Engineering in the S.S. College Of Engineering, Udaipur. He also runs a coaching institute by the name of “Sarvodaya Classes”.

Rajeev Soni is basically from Jodhpur. He did his schooling from Jodhpur itself. Thereafter, he completed Engineering from the government college of Udaipur in 2014.

Soon after completing his Engineering, Rajeev joined the S.S. College. In 2015, he felt that he should pursue Masters and thus he completed M.Tech from Sir Padampat Singhania University in 2019. Then he went on to do Ph.D in Structural Engineering from the Rajasthan Technical University, Kota.

Rajeev says that initially when he had joined S.S. College, he was quite nervous about teaching as he had just completed his engineering. But the aptitude and interest shown by his students motivated him to gradually gain confidence and proficiency in teaching.

Talking about the current scenario he says that recently they are facing the issue of low admission rates in the Civil Engineering branch. However, he says that as a H.O.D, he makes sure that every student gets placed soon after completing their graduation. Adding to it, he says that recently six of his students have been placed at a reputed company in Gujarat, one student is working in Dubai too. Rajeev says he regularly organizes knowledgeable seminars and industry visits for his students which helps them not only in their studies but also in job seeking.

Rajeev was active in student union politics during his college years and there he got good exposure to leadership training. He says that has helped him to lead his students and the institution properly.

Along with managing the Civil Engineering Department in his college, Rajeev also runs a coaching academy which he had started in 2019. He says that the coaching has given excellent results and many of his students are working in reputed jobs too. He says that his main motive with his coaching academy is to properly guide students with technical knowledge and rather than focusing on the monetary benefits.

Whenever Rajeev gets free time, he likes to watch comedy videos and sports channels to relieve himself of stress.
