Rajat Patidar hails from the village named Shyampur in Bhopal. He completed his school education in his village itself. Then he did his bachelors from Indore.
Talking about his childhood, Rajat says that from the beginning he was interested in painting and drawing. As a kid, he would draw sketches of cartoon characters. People would always appreciate his art. However, later realizing that pursuing art is not that rewarding monetarily, he chose to focus on his studies instead.
Rajat shares that he got the motivation to pursue his artistic abilities when he happened to meet his cousin who was residing in Bhopal and had done some exemplary work with his tattoo art. After completing high school, he started learning the art of tattooing under his cousin. Later, he went to Mumbai to learn the art in-depth and did a diploma in tattooing from Aliens Tattoo Art School there.
After completing the diploma, Rajat moved to Indore and set up his own tattoo studio there in 2019. He says that he has been doing well since he started his tattoo studio.
Rajat considers his father his biggest role model and support system. He says his father always supported him in all his endeavors. Besides, he considers his cousin and his tattoo art instructor from Mumbai as his inspirations.
Talking about Covid, Rajat says that during the pandemic he got to spend a lot of time with his family. Besides, he also watched numerous videos on the internet and also interacted with his seniors to learn the art of tattooing better.
In his spare time, Rajat likes to listen to music as he thinks that listening to music helps him focus on his work better. Besides, he also likes to dance, sing, play the guitar, and travel during his free time.
If he could go back in time via a Time Machine, Rajat would want to relive the time when he went to Mumbai to pursue a diploma in tattoo art. He says staying in Mumbai was the best period of his life both in terms of experiences and learning. Besides, he would also want to experience the lifestyle of his predecessors going back in time.
Rajat feels that life is full of ebbs and flows. But how we choose to react in a situation is wholly up to us. He advises people to always remain positive in life, come what may.
Rajat advises parents to let their children follow their passion and encourage them to make their careers out of their profession. He says every child is different with different talents, and one should always be allowed to pursue their interests.
