Rajat Menaria is the Owner of Rex Jobs, a recruitment agency that he has been running for five years now. Based in Udaipur, his company provides jobs to people in need.
After completing his bachelors from RNT College, Kapasan, Rajat came to Udaipur to pursue his MBA from Pacific College. He mainly helps conduct interviews for candidates for jobs in the Software, IT and Electronics industry.
While pursuing his MBA, Rajat took training in Hyundai for 45 days to get a job which he couldn't secure. Understanding the need of employment, Rajat started his own consultancy firm and facilitated 30 selections in the first month of his startup. This is how Rex Jobs was born which laid its foundation in 2016 and has covered around a thousand companies in Udaipur. He doesn't charge people who are in need of a job and cannot afford to pay the required fees. Rajat also has a KPO that deals in academic writing services like writing a thesis. He also runs a gym and a clothing shop of his own.
Talking about the challenges he has faced, Rajat shares that to overcome the financial difficulties at home, he decided to come to Udaipur to start his professional journey. He started in a small way selling pamphlets for which he used to get a meagre amount. Then Rajat realised the importance of education and enrolled for an MBA program. He then joined the Sales department at Chandra Hyundai along with his studies. Rajat then purchased a bike with his first salary which unfortunately got stolen after two months. To earn additional income, he also started doing tele-calling.
Talking about COVID, Rajat says that helping people who lost their jobs during the lockdown gave him the biggest satisfaction. Being able to help his parents financially is also an achievement for Rajat.
Rajat’s Success Mantra is to make other people happy and secure their lives. He is a self-motivated individual who focuses on becoming a better version of himself, especially in terms of his career.
Talking about leadership, Rajat says that he found the leader in him through his life experiences and by getting the work done through team work. He believes in providing freedom to his employees rather than making them work in a controlled environment.
Rajat feels that Experience matters more than Education and having just a degree with no practical implementation and learning is of no relevance.
For the youth who wish to get into consultancy, Rajat suggests them to understand people’s requirements and focus on getting them a job rather than just doing it for monetary benefits.
Rajat spent his childhood playing cricket with his family and friends.
