Rajat Chobey is a photographer by passion and by profession. He first got the hold of a camera when he was twelve-year-old and ever since he has been continuing his exploration with photography,

Rajat Chobey was born and brought up in Udaipur. He is a photographer and kick boxer. He started kickboxing from an early age. In his 1st std, he started learning Taekwondo. He participated in school and state level tournaments. Besides, he was also interested in photography. He would borrow a camera from others and click photographs. He pursued photography till his college until he took to it full time as a wedding photographer. Till now he has done photoshoots for more than one hundred and eighty weddings.

Talking about struggles in his journey, Rajat says that when he started as a photographer, he had to do tasks as menial as making light connections. He had to change schools which was a struggle too. He started pursuing hotel management initially but later opted for photography. He strived a lot and recently he bought his own DSLR.

Rajat has learned a lot about photography from the exposure he got and people he worked with. Besides, his kickboxing coach Mahaveer Lal Salvi taught him a lot. He considers these people as his role models.

Rajat advises parents that if your child wants to do something then let them pursue that. Your apprehensions and worries about your child’s future are obvious, but letting them pursue what they want to and at the same time guiding them whenever they commit a mistake will help them.

Rajat also advises those who want to pursue their passion apart from the conventional careers that you should pursue your passion to its depth and keep practising it.

If Rajat could go back in time then he would want to relive the moment when he got hold of a camera for the first time. Besides, he would also want to relive the moment when he got a gold medal against Sri Lanka in a kickboxing tournament.

Rajat stresses that in life education and experience both are important. He says that education helps in getting experience. And experience helps in growing further in life.

Rajat believes that experiences in life help you become a leader. He too is learning from his life experiences to become a good leader.

Rajat plans his day well in advance. He makes a to-do list everyday and executes it. He advises that time management helps pursue your profession and passion well.

To conclude he advises that you should think about what you want to pursue in life, and will help you in the future. And when you’re pursuing it and it’s materialising then continue it else just quit it.
