Rajarshi Mehta is the owner of Assure IT Infra, a company specializing in IT infrastructure, network solutions, cybersecurity, and enterprise WiFi, operating across India.
He started this journey in 2010, driven by the encouragement of a friend and his wife, who urged him not to have regrets about not pursuing his passions.
Reflecting on his upbringing in Udaipur, Rajarshi says that he grew up in an academically inclined family. He completed his schooling till class 10th at Vidya Niketan school and pursued Arts in high school at Government Guru Gobind Singh Senior Secondary School.
While he initially intended to complete a graduation from Rajasthan Vidyapeeth, he ultimately dropped out and pursued a Diploma in Computer Science and started doing a job. His first job at HRH Group of Hotels spanned eight years, providing him valuable insights from his seniors.
Rajarshi fondly recalls childhood memories, including his first attempt at school bunking, which was promptly foiled by his father's friend, a teacher who brought him back to school.
He believes that for him real-life experiences have been more instructive than formal education.
Kumar Vishwas, Pankaj Tripathi, and Richa Anirudh are his inspirations, all of them having built their journeys from the ground up.
Rajarshi is inspired by the quote : “Self-inspiration is the key to inspiring others”.
Talking about his struggles, Rajarshi shares that he hails from a Brahmin family that initially opposed his entrepreneurial aspirations. Funding his business was a challenging task. He started with a job that paid a mere Rs. 3000 per month and saved diligently over eight years to accumulate Rs. 80,000. He used these savings to establish his own venture, beginning from a small shop and eventually expanding to an office employing around 40 people.
Rajarshi remains driven by the constant pursuit of new challenges, emphasizing that every day presents an opportunity for achievement.
Providing employment for forty individuals and overcoming discouragement to establish his own company stand out as his notable achievements, says Rajarshi.
If offered a time machine to go back in time, Rajarshi would relive the moment he first held his newborn daughter and cherish the carefree days when he and his friends enjoyed ‘breadbada’ together, free from life's worries.
Rajarshi’s message to aspiring entrepreneurs is to enter the business world only when they are resolute in their decision, recognizing its inherent difficulties.
For those venturing into the IT field, Rajarshi stresses the importance of a service-oriented mindset over merely selling products, and tailoring solutions to meet the customer's specific needs and budget.
