Hailing from a humble background, Raj Kumar Jakhar dedicated his life to serving the country. He began his journey in the Navy and later transitioned to the police department, where he now serves as a constable in the Cyber Security Cell in Udaipur. Jakhar is a firm believer in the power of positivity and continually learns from those he encounters along the way.

Raj Kumar Jakhar has been dedicatedly serving as a Police Constable at Savina Police Thana in Udaipur since 2015.

Hailing from Sikar, Rajasthan, Raj Kumar completed his schooling at Shanti Niketan School, where he excelled, topping his class in both 10th and 12th grades.

In 2012, Jakhar was selected for the Indian Navy, a prestigious achievement, but had to leave the service after two years due to health issues as the environment proved unsuitable for him. Undeterred, he applied and  was selected for the post of police constable and has since served in various police stations.

Reflecting on his childhood, Raj Kumar Jakhar recalls his immense fondness for playing cricket, often spending entire days in the field. This passion frequently earned him scoldings from his mother.

Raj Kumar holds his father in high regard, considering him his role model. Despite being illiterate himself, his father ensured Raj Kumar  received a good education, instilling values in him and providing the upbringing that helped him reach his current position.

Discussing his struggles, Raj Kumar shares that finding a job after leaving the Navy was a significant challenge. However, his determination led him to secure a position as a police constable. Mastering various tasks within the police department was no less challenging, yet he persevered and gained expertise in his field.

One of Raj Kumar's notable achievements is the recent launch of a Cyber Crime Cell at Savina police station. This initiative has provided relief to lakhs of people in various cyber fraud cases, marking significant progress in a short span.

To cyber crime victims, Raj Kumar advises immediate reporting to the nearest police station and registering complaints through the helpline number 1930. He emphasizes the importance of safeguarding personal information and spreading awareness about cyber crime.

Raj Kumar reflects on the COVID-19 pandemic, noting that it taught people the value of many things and brought families closer together.

Drawing a comparison between education and experience, Raj Kumar believes that both education and experience are crucial for building a career and asserts that determination can help anyone achieve their goals, regardless of their background.

In his spare time, Raj Kumar enjoys hanging out and playing games. He advises newcomers to the police department to understand the people they serve and adapt to the work culture, emphasising that practical knowledge is more important than theoretical knowledge alone.

To today's generation, Raj Kumar stresses the importance of excelling in sports alongside academics. He encourages every child to master a sport, noting that sports quotas can provide opportunities for government jobs in competitive exams.
